A Renovation and Expansion of a University Law School

Major improvements to the Syracuse University College of Law included a 58,000-square-foot addition and the renovation of an existing 118,000-square-foot law school building. Spaces include an auditorium, library, classrooms, seminar rooms, moot courts, student work rooms and reading rooms, conference areas, dining and food service, and administrative and support areas. Mueller’s services included the design of new HVAC systems, a new fire protection system, security and access card systems, new emergency power, state-of-the-art data and telecommunications systems, and the extension of the campus central control and monitoring system and new DDC controls. A phased approach allowed for continued use of the building during construction.
