Opera House Circles Lounge

An Elegant Transformation of a Sophisticated Theater Lounge

The renovation of the Opera House Circles Lounge at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts transformed the former Golden Circle Lounge, located on the Box Tier level of the Opera House, into a showcase for Russian art. Befitting the center’s stunning Mid-Century Modern architecture, the lounge provides an elegant, contemporary setting for relaxing and viewing the artwork collection. The Golden Circle Lounge, Lobby, Anteroom, Pantry, and Storage comprise approximately 3,050 SF. Mueller provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the project, among many projects completed at the Kennedy Center in recent years.
